Each meter of ProfiLED holds 60 individually addressed pixels with 8-bit grayscale on every channel. Ten bars give a 600 pixel line, which is enough resolution to run animation, graphics and video rather than a flat colour wash.

What 60 pixels per meter buys you
Pixel density decides how much detail a line of bars can show. At 60 pixels per meter a ten bar run is a 600 pixel line, so text, gradients and moving shapes stay readable rather than turning into blocks.
Each channel carries 8-bit grayscale, meaning 256 levels. That is what keeps slow fades and dark scenes smooth instead of visibly stepping.

Live Sources
Feeding live content to the bars
Content is normally built in LED Strip Studio on a pixel map of the real layout, so an effect follows the physical shape of the rig rather than the order of the cabling.
The software can also take a live HDMI or Blackmagic capture and push it straight to the bars, which is how a ProfiLED rig follows a video feed in real time.
