150 Degrees of Even Light.
ProfiLED spreads its output across a 150 degree view angle. The light leaves the bar wide rather than as a narrow beam, so a run reads as a continuous line and lights the surface around it at the same time.
Beam Angle
What a 150 degree angle changes
A narrow beam puts a bright spot on a surface and leaves the rest dark. At 150 degrees the output of each pixel overlaps its neighbours quickly, which is what stops a close-up of the bar showing a row of separate dots.
The same spread means a bar mounted near a wall or a floor lights that surface as well as appearing in the shot itself.
- 150 degree view angle on every pixel
- Neighbouring pixels overlap, so the bar reads as a line
- Lights nearby surfaces as well as appearing in frame

Mounting
Distance, spacing and the profile
The bar measures 60 by 30 by 1000 millimetres in a black anodized aluminium profile, and the beam leaves the full width of that face. Mounting closer to a surface gives a tighter, brighter band; further away gives a wider, softer one.
Because the spread is wide, bars placed side by side blend into an even field rather than showing gaps between them.
- 60 by 30 by 1000 millimetre profile
- Black anodized aluminium body
- Bars sit side by side without visible gaps
- Standard truss clamps for rigging
FAQ
Wide Coverage questions
150 degrees, measured as the view angle of the bar.
The 150 degree spread makes neighbouring pixels overlap, so the bar reads as a line rather than dots in most shots. Very tight close-ups should still be tested. Background in Pixel LED for Video Production Sets.
60 by 30 by 1000 millimetres, in a black anodized aluminium profile, weighing one kilogram.
