Art-net and Universes
MadMapper is a popular software used for a variety of applications. It is user friendly and contains a ton of pre-programmed effects that can be further tweaked and create awesome content for your digital pixel LEDs.
Reactivo is the smallest LED controller that works over Art-net. It is a unique device that allows for up to 1024 RGB pixels driven by software, Android & iOS app and also allows connection of various external triggers.
The most important note regarding the combination of Reactivo and MadMapper is that the controller works with Art-net. This is DMX over Ethernet and was designed to replace the older protocol. It is great, however it might get confusing from time to time. Counting universes and channels aside, it is important to note that in our devices, “we are using, as a starting universe, Universe 1”. “MadMapper, on the other hand, starts with Universe 0”.
