Enhanced scene and show preview in new LED Strip Studio

Since LED Strip Studio version 3.3.8 you can finally see the preview of the scenes in the show timeline. Software now automatically zooms in to show only strips in selected animation.

Navigation and editing of the music synchronized LED show is now much easier. It’s especially practical for LED dance (Tron girls) music- synchronized shows.

Anyway, if you don’t like the new preview, you can still get back to non-preview timeline. Just go to Home->Other->Software Settings in the main LED Strip Studio window.

In the software settings, you can disable the scene preview displayed in show timeline. You can also change the color of the waveform in the background of the time line.

Better strip scene preview

We’ve also improved how the strip scene preview is generated. Before we’ve always used all the strips. However, in the new version the preview is generated only from the strips containing animations. Great improvement especially for LED dance shows.

If you don’t like this feature, you can again change it in Software Settings (Home->Other->Software Settings in main window) and disable this feature. You can see the Enhanced scene previews also in timeline.

By default, one track of the timeline is using 40 screen pixel points. Since the new displays use Full HD or higher resolution, you can also increase the size to e.g. 60.

Track height set to 60 pixels

To set the height of the timeline track, go to Home->Other->Workspace Settings window, where you can set the Show Line Height. Adjust workspace to your needs and enjoy new version of the software. We believe that with this version of the program the navigation will be easier. Happy creating 🙂
